Valkyrie
I'm back! Morning everybody. Mark I missed you too! Howdie and thanks for starting a thread that makes me laugh till I either ache or have to rush to the loo! Cor, and what a lot I missed - lots of piccies and Happy Anniversary. It's like the blooming conveyor belt - cuddly toy? No I remember a froggy. Too much and the brain is now overloading!!!! Although that's not difficult. Had a lovely day. Guess what? My cuzzies got there before us - we were caught in a traffic jam that caused a mega queue and ended up arriving half an hour later. What was the traffic jam? Roadworks for 2 houses that were having driveways onto the road! Bodiam Castle was fun - they had a medieval weapons display thingy and we watched a battle trebouchet in action - it's a smaller one than at Warwick Castle - that is a fixed huge heavy one, whereas the small one was for troops on the march. We had a go at longbow archery. I nearly hit the bear's foot, but couldn't pull back the string far enough (the arrow was a bit short - ahem that's my excuse anyway). OH hit a bullseye on a target - but he was aiming for the bear! Cuz one made the string go peoyoing and it sounded fabulous, just like the movies, but she said that was because it bounced off her boob! Poor Faversham cuz lost the skin on his arm - ouch! Then we explored the castle. I'll swear the steps to the towers have got bigger - it was like mounting a horse - leg up, oops higher, no up a bit more . . . I declined the last tower. But I did see a wild honey bee colony in the ruins while I was waiting for the others. Then we had lunch in the pub nearby. When we came out it was spitting with rain, so then we decided to go to Hastings. Hastings for me is a bit spoilt. But we had good weather and played Adventure Golf. Well I was rubbish. But I caught up a bit and ended second to last. Fav cuz won a free go (with a Tarzan call) so he will go back again! The rest of us each had rude comments, like a toilet flushing (DD) and "I say, this really isn't you is it?". Then a funfair ride and go cart racing. DD really let rip there and lapped everyone! Got home really late and mum did fine. Thing is she has been tidying my bits away and now I can't find anything! Oi! I was up at 7 - I've been catching up here and writing this essay! Valkyrie
I'm on here still doing the very thing. Although this computer has started to play up, and I'm too stiff to kick it! Must go and do my ablutions, I'm a dirty girl at the mo - can't face going upstairs just yet - think I'll have a coffee first. Hey I'm reliving the teenage years! So without more ado I'll put the kettle on and give this stupid thing a rest, come back later when hopefully it will behave itself again. I'll give it "can't find page" when I'm trying to submit a reply!!!! Tootle pipsy.
