Busybird
Tooties wrote I'm sure things will change once they leave home. Otherwise pity their poor wives and husbands! According to my MIL, my OH was the perfect son and never gave her a moments grief - he was clean, tidy, heldful, considerate... So where did I go wrong that I now find his discarded socks on the kitchen worktop, used coffee mugs in the bathroom, and he has NO IDEA how to load a dishwasher or washing machine, switch on a vacuum cleaner or cook a simple meal without using at least four separate pans (and he doesn't do washing up)? My kids are 12, 11 and 9. At 12 my DD is just starting to cultivate an attitude...
Alis girls
I too find socks in funny places - someone open a thread on socks please kitchen worktop, table - i have to say when OH and boys undress it looks like Chippendales have dropped round for tea ( male strippers to those not in the know - not the furniturre people)
Valkyrie
DD is the one with odd socks - hardly ever able to match them in the wash. So I used to keep them until the other half turned up. Thing is she deliberately wears odd socks and they are on show for all the world to see! Now if I did that . . .
