Chook n Boo Mum
I'm sure I posted this a few minutes ago, but can't find it, so here goes again!!! This is the first piece of patchwork which I have finished and given away!! Given that the pieces I used were quite big, it grew quickly & was completed in one (school) day..........plus finger repair time as I had stitched my finger into the patchwork...........don't ask ! It was a gift for DS's housemaster's son, who at almost 1 is a bit big for a baby quilt, so I made it for his first bed! Mum & dad seemed touched, I just hope littl'un likes it!! Plum
Those blues are really zingy. I bet they were really chuffed. Quilt in a day can be done then We'll have a whip round to buy you a thimble.

Chook n Boo Mum
Yes I have, I got it on our Omlet trip to Ikea, and had thought that a half sized throw would be ok for the little chap, so cut it in half..........3 hours later I was stitching it back together as I'd got carried away with the patchwork & expanded my plan to fit a single bed !!!! mostin
It looks fab . Very crisp and cool colours. Love the use of the fleece backing too. Very impressed as that is your 1st attempt, I can't even see the blood spots .
