Space Chick
Peri has started bullying and feather pecking her sisters, and has even tried feather pecking Donna through the divide. Should I try integrating and free ranging her sooner to give the others some space? Its my first set of intros. 3 of the 4 Newbies are now eating grapes from my hand Not bad as I've only had them since Saturday
quickcluck
Hmmmmmm I think it may be a tad too soon to integrate them....... You could try shooting here with a water pistol or some anti peck spray???

Although the Cream Leg bar will happily sit there and be plucked I got some Net-ex Anti peck spay and seems to be doing the trick after a few days. Cookie very kindly sent me a bumper bit but I am hoping I don`t have to use it

Abbey Road Girl
A big mistake I made was to hope that feather-pecking could be stopped by tea tree oil spray, purple spray and optimism. I would advise you, Debs, and anyone with that problem to (1) get bumper bits from Wernlas; (2) get someone to hold each chicken in a bath towel, securing the neck; (3) using the proper kind of circlips (available from auto shops--you need the straight-ended not the bent over kind--which expand when the handles are squeezed) then fit the bits. It will make your chickens look a bit more like ducks (rounded bill) but you will gain tremendous peace of mind when you can feel that they will be unlikely to harm each other.
