Budgies
I've got mine on order from them and wondered if we had ordered any of the same chookies! I have a Barnie on order too, a Light Sussex and an Olive. Sorry that didn't work out for you hon, but your newbies are gorgeous. Shame I didn't order mine at the same time - i could have picked yours up too when mine are ready!!
quickcluck
I am sure you will have a better experience.... It's just that that oldest are 24weeks now and would be harder to tame etc, and they couldn't give us any idea when they would be coming, they'd been saying 'soon' for a month...... quickcluck
Tasha, Nick has got to do that tomorrow I really hope that they are OK about it, the worst that can happen is the will not return our deposit. But I hope they understand as we've been waiting soooooooooo long.... sooooo

quickcluck
He has!!! Mr Wernlas, not a happy chappy Will not refund the deposit But not sure how long they were expecting us to wait. they didn't ask why we were cancelling The girls are lovely. they had some corn today, but still kept their distance.... small steps though they will be very friendly girls I am sure. Does yours cope the the cube ladder ok???
bigmommasally
He has!!! Mr Wernlas, not a happy chappy Oh dear - How do they long do they expect their customers to wait for? I think they are being unreasonable not refunding your deposit they haven't kept their side of the arrangement - they are the ones that failed to deliver, whether it was the couriers or not it is still them you made the contract with. I'd be pushing for my deposit back. My Orp copes okay with the ladder, as well as any of my other girls.
quickcluck
We have taken the eglu off of the little table for now, when they are a bit more confident we'll put it back in, then it has a cube ladder attached to it. Will wait a week or so, do you think that will be enough?
Cooks
personally I think it's very unreasonable for them to not return your deposit, it's not your fault they kept delaying your delivery and you got fed up enough to look elsewhere (which I would have done AGES ago) I would push for the deposit back myself, otherwise I would talk to Trading Standards or is it Susumer Standards now I forget.. :Unless the deposit is a small amount then just forget it and dont go there again. quickcluck
Deposit was £30 I am a complete wuss when it comes to this sort of thing
Falkor
Shame about the deposit but I spose it depends on the terms agreed as to whether you are able to get it back. Glad to hear the little ladies are settling in.......you may find the best way to get the girls to use the ladder is to let them go to bed as normal and then lift the eglu and add the ladder (strong people required!) that way they will wake up and be faced with the ladder. Knowing Orps they will just assume that it has always been like that and get on with it! PS......more pics please!!!! Still waiting to see Splash in all her glory
