Anyone tried Rosetta Stone?

Recommended Posts

Thanks Debs - have tried a few of the online freebies like the bbc, but hasn't got us very far - can say our names!! As you say difficult language, but have bought land in Crete with the intention of building on and then retiring to (with chickens, goats, bees quite a dream!!) so long term project.

No but OH got Spanish tape and book today - we are off to Spain in 3 weeks. Cue for us to sit round table to hear Carlos sounding very perky and way too fast as we struggled to say how are you? good morning etc etc - that after we all gigged about in our chairs to the jolly music :lol: - so if you;re anything like us and I bet you arent - give up - Hola

The funny thing is I already speak a few languages - absorbed them easily in my younger days!! OH doesn't speak any, so we are starting from level playing field together. Have always done languages in a school/uni, so you're probably right, nochucks yet! Love Spanish so any help you need there, no problema - have a fab time!
