Well, read and learn ... and think how motivated you're going to be when you get home (I sometimes find that, faced with the reality of shelves full of stuff, unfiled paperwork etc. my motivation slackens!).

 

I hope it does the job for you, an earlier version ('Getting Rid of Clutter') is what transformed me from an obsessive hoarder to someone who could actually throw things away. I dread to think what I'd be like by now if I hadn't read it ... hmm, possibly like my sister who has a four-bedroomed house and no guest room!

Phew 50! All the above items are duplicates that we have in our house (collected during the big "seperation". told OH he is stuck with me now as I have no stuff to move out with! :D He said if that was the case then he will let me stay....arrrrrh who said romance is dead :roll:

18 white shirt that never looks white any more

19 enormous candle (with 3 wicks and shells inside it) - lovely in my old bathroom, but doesn't go with anything in this house

20 selection of small plastic boxes. I know as soon as they've gone I'll find a use for them!

 

That will have to do for now as I'm off on my hols. As I drive up the motorway I shall throw out of the window all my worries, cares, problems, anxieties and stresses - I don't need to take them with me and there'll be a fresh supply no doubt when I get home! :wink:

I have been away at my mums this weekend so have not de-cluttered at all!

 

I was telling my Dad all about my de-clutter madness and how great it is to be able to find what you want in my kitchen cupboards wothout having to empty half of it first only for Mum to present me with Nigella mixing bowl, small bowl, jug and little dinky bowls! Looks like that clear shelf has a use again! :roll::lol:
