Peckadilly Circus Incubator Webcam - IT'S HATCHED - PICTURES

Recommended Posts

Raina, having just seen your sleepless thread, is the incubator in your room? If so I'd move it, you are more likely to rest if you're not constantly listening for it to switch on and off...and evict the dog...the 10 yr old may not be so easy to relocate  !!!!

I've mixed the threads, but you'll get the message!!

Thanks everyone,

I candled the eggs lastnight and my nephew was very excited as he saw veins in 2 of the eggs (the 2 in the middle of the bator), i thought i was just seeing things as i was really tired so called my sis up and she saw them too, all the others looked clear

I'll be candling the eggs on Thursday or Friday to see, so i'm  that we don't have an empty incubator on Saturday :notalk:

My mum has already started looking for more just incase lol

Nope non yet

And we're down to 2 eggs now

I took the 3 eggs out that i was 100% sure about, and i was really naughty and candled the other 3, one of them that i though had gone black inside didn't it was clear (not sure how i thought it was black  ) and the 2 that are in there now are completely black i can see veins and slight movement in 1 and not sure about the other, and now i've got my mum bugging me to put the 'new' eggs in the bator :x

Don't forget to clean the inccy properly and let the temperature and humidity get back to normal settings before putting the new eggs in no matter how keen you/your mum are - the high humidity and bacteria in the inccy at the moment may well damage the new ones

I really need help now lol

I put the eggs in the bator today with the other 2, we e-mailed the woman and asked what day the eggs were laid, she said Thursday & Friday well it's been 7/8 days now  and we've been out bid on all the bators (my mum said she'll still get more if these don't hatch)

The 2 original eggs got candled last-night just to check if they were still alive,i'm still not sure about the one but the other egg has bright red veins and i'm pretty sure i can see movement, but still not sure why the little critter hasn't hatched yet

Oh and i accidently dropped the usb part of the webcam in my dogs water bowl  so i've left it on the windowsill for the past few days to dry out, will test it later on today on my new compooper :D

Thanks,

I'm not going to bother candling the new eggs now, think i'll just wait till about day 18 then candle and chook ( ) the clear/died early eggs away

I'm currently searching for a couple of Pekin Bantam hens now, so if one goes broody i can use her instead of the incubator (Already have a coop & run)
