This time it was quite a large egg and torpedo shaped ! But the last one was quite a small egg and so was very surprised by it.

Thank you all for your comments, never did weigh the egg coz although largeish it wasnt unusualy large. Did taste good though And nearly caused my neighbour a heart attack as I ran screaming to the wall to show her my pan of wonder!

what a great surprise for you

i've never had a triple but do get regular double yolkers from my big sussex. they are no bigger than a single yolk so its just lucky if you get one. my eldest daughter always seems to find them. the last 5 have been claimed by her . she now knwos how to poach, scramble boil and omlette by herself! shw wants to try them out in a cake next but i'm not sure if too much yolk is useful in a sponge?
