Kitchen taps

Recommended Posts

I don't have one like that, but bought the coolest tap when I had my kitchen done. It has a light which changes colour as the water heats up, it is a real talking point in my kitchen 8)

The one in the picture is the bathroom one, although the kitchen one is very similar, just bigger :D

Just thought I'd share..........

Hi, ours is not quite like that, but has a pull out tap that can spray as well as just run,it is a bit like a shower head. I find it really useful and would hate to go back to an ordinary mixer tap. I thought it was expensive at the time but it was worth every penny. Next week starting 6.8.09 Lidl are selling a very similar looking tap to mine for £18.99  I'm tempted to buy one just in case mine ever goes wrong.

Cool looking tap Debsl, sorry Anne, I dont have a tap like that, but, like Debs just thought I would share my kitchen story.

Our kitchen tap was dripping, my OH ignored it for so long, the worktop blew and last year we had a whole new kitchen fitted  Serves OH right, if he had fixed the tap straight away.........:lol: So instead of a few pence for a new washer, it turned into thousands for a new kitchen :lol: I'm happy! in fact I'm sure I can hear the bathroom tap dripping.....................

I don't have one but I always wondered what they'd be like to clean. The colour changing tap is very 8) I'm quite old fashioned when it comes to taps and I like the simple shaped ones which are mixer and have lever handles. But I'd also love one of the taps that give you boiling hot ater so you have no need for a kettle.

Mine is like Purple Hen's and I love the way you choose spray or normal. However ours had to be adapted because it wouldn't work with our water pressure being low even though it was designed for low pressure situations. I might pop into Lidl and get one of the taps as we might be moving. The tap we have now cost £300 so if I can save £280 I'd like to.

I don't have a tap like that but our shower hoses are made in the same way. They sometimes get black mould in between the spirals but that could be because we tend to use just one shower and the others are left for a while between use, if they are patted dry after use it is not so bad. I clean them with a toothbrush and home made tea tree spray.

I would think in a kitchen that you wouldn't have that problem.

My favourite is the clickable linky one in the middle but then again I keep changing my mind  Chickvic, the ones with the twirly bits round them swivel and pull out :) Debs, I agree with you about handles and taps plus it doesn't help that the ones I like are usually the most expensive
