Valkyrie
Here you go JJ Looks quite dark and cold doesn't it. Now you can look outside and feel warm even if it's an iffy day - actually it's turned out nice now here.

Valkyrie
This is the place where Charles Church wanted to build. It used to be much more open, but lots of new fences have been put in.

Scramble
You're doing a good thing with that Debs Here's the view over our garden wall. Excuse the quality of the picture, it was sunset and I managed to momentarily murder the camera by pointing it directly at the sun
Valkyrie
That's a lovely piccie JJ. I like the sun like that - the last rays on a sunny day ahhhhhhhh - atmospheric.

Scramble
Thanks guys @Fred You know... I've seen the ISS from my garden a few months ago I think, it was orbiting and at certain times you could see it
Scramble
You know you must have travelled very fast to be in the ISS since you were in a secret underground bunker 1000 meters deep and you'd swallowed the keypads for the doors ....
Valkyrie
I see . . . . the view was a bit rubbish in the bunker eh? Watch out for those aliens.

The bunker also had a rocket launch pad, the view was a bit boring in the bunker, not much to see except for mud.

Space Chick
I wish I was orbiting the Earth in the ISS I have 2 ambitions in life yet to fill, 1 is to go in a helicopter (which I am doing on Boxing Day this year ), the other is to go into Space. clootie
I've just had a very large, loud, foulmouthed yob scream obscenities at me whilst sitting on the horn because I wouldn't pull out into the oncoming traffic at an extremely busy junction. Two minutes I had to wait for a break in the traffic, two whole minutes!! If I'm honest, the whole thing has left me a bit shaken.
Plum
Poor Cloots don't let anyone make you do anything daft in busy traffic. What an idiot, rise above it and go and have some chocolate. x

I'd love to go in a helicopter, where are you flying from and to? Or don't you know that yet? For my 18th my parents bought me a half hour flying lesson, it's the one and only time I've been in an aeroplane. Would love another one, maybe for an hour, they said you could get to the Brecon Beacons and back on an hour lesson. It's my 30th next year
WarrensWorld
The only UK, regular Helicopter service is between Penzance and the Isles of Scilly. We've been on it, and it's very very noisy.......
Valkyrie
Lucky you Debs! Poor Cloots - I usually get that. I like to be sure before I pull out - you never know there may be a motorbike in the middle of the road that you can't see. Of course they then cut you up further up the road, but I prefer them in front of me. I always say they are in a hurry to meet their maker. Sadly it will be some other poor soul that will be hurt most. I hope your wobbly knees turn back to normal soon and the blood pressure drops. Me - at the moment I know where the muscles are in my bottom ooooooh for a nice cushion.

It's my 30th next year Sorry PurpleTree, I'd love to say it was local, but sadly it is in Las Vegas. We haven't decided which flight we are defo going to do yet, although I am tempted by either the Grand Canyon landing, or the strip at night I've just had a very large, loud, foulmouthed yob scream obscenities at me whilst sitting on the horn because I wouldn't pull out into the oncoming traffic at an extremely busy junction. Two minutes I had to wait for a break in the traffic, two whole minutes!! If I'm honest, the whole thing has left me a bit shaken. My driving instructor always used to say "better to be late in this life, than early in the next", a motto I've lived by the 18 years I've been driving Some idiots shouldn't have licences.
