xScrunchee
Been up since before 5 as I am so excited Went to a ladies house yesterday to look at her chickens and have now got 2 POL hens and a booted bantam cockerel being picked up from her this evening One girl is pure white and tiny. Apparently she is a Sumatra. The other girl is a mongrel. She is mainly white with light brown splashes and a few feathers on her legs. Last but not least we are also getting a Partridge Bantam Bootie cockerel. The girls are around 18 weeks old and Kevin the cockerel was hatched on Christmas eve so is around 8 months Checked that I am allowed a cockerel with the council and they have pretty much said that providing he is kept quiet until a reasonable time in the morning-it's not a problem Of course pictures a plenty when they arrive Edited August 20, 2009 by Guest

Purplemaniacs
How exciting, what are you going to do all day while you are waiting? It will be a loooooooooooong day until it time for them to be picked up this evening. Chrissie
xScrunchee
Yep-loooong day indeed. Feels like forever!! Well, tidying house a little bit as I know nothing will get done for days now. Going to the shops to get some cabbages, greens etc. Coming home and setting up temp run inside the WIR, having a clean out and moving some perches and hanging some treats up so that the old girls have something to keep them busy other than just screeching at the newbies. Not that I think that will make much difference but worth a try!! Oooo, can't wait
tom123
Oooh good luck! Are you putting them in with your other girls eventually? Tom

xScrunchee
Kev the cockerel Tallulah and Pearl Tallulah and Pearl again Pearl Tallulah And Kev again Not great pics as they are from mobile. Tallulah has what looks like a pea comb, she also has feathers growing on her legs. Pearl is a white Sumatra apparently She will let anyone pick her up and she will just sit on your lap for as long as you let her. Never seen such a friendly girl-especially as she isn't even laying yet.
