Well this afternoon I just went to sleep. What a waste Just thought of Lewis off to Cornwall hope its warmer than here!

Night Em

Well I had a lovely meal out, but have had a few glasses of wine, and so my mind is not as clear as usual

 

Everything was FANTASTIC, really good quality, and the owner and I got talking about chickens as she used to have them them

 

To start, I had smoked salmon terrine, and Phil had a duck spring roll. Both served with the crustiest tastiest bread ever, that he makes himself. (now I make all my own bread so I've asked for tips on how to make my crusts crustier )

 

Then, I had free range chicken breast with saffron Risotto and Phil had Salt marsh lamb.

 

Then for pud, I had ginger sponge with butterscotch sauce and Phil had White choc cheesecake with berry sorbet

 

It was all

 

I know feel very stuffed, very tired and just a little tipsy
