Does anybody else ever feel.....Part # 7

Recommended Posts

Bonjour :D

Just had to read 7 pages! Looks like Laura wins JJ

I've just watched Young, Dumb & living off mum - glad the right person won (just incase anyone hasn't seen it yet!)

Then I watched tele shopping, it was really funny. basically just a round sandwich toaster/george foreman grill, but they made ridiculous things in it. "Soup doesn't fill you up, so add some stuffing to it and toast it" Then they had something for someone on a carb free diet - chicken, cheese and rice with an egg poured over it to make it a bit like an Omlette, then served with potato! - carb!

Aargh!

I need to find 2 people to light and do sound for Cinderella next week because the person that was doing both has pulled out at such short notice! :|

They've also said they can't use the dry ice machine because of the fire alarms :( - waste of £100, but I should hopefully be able to hire it out for Panto season :)

Oh my word

Sister's results are due tomorrow in the mail and she couldn't pick them up today as she's on a music course and gets back tomorrow...but a friend has called her telling her she has A*s in everything and has broken the school record

She doesn't know whether to believe that though as the person who told her was an ex-boyfriend..admittedly still friends though.

She doesn't know whether to believe it but thought she'd tell us anyway.

We already knew that she got an A* in early entry maths though :P

We're just awaiting the rest

Mum is nearly hyperventilating

She also found out on her music course that she's passed her Grade 7 singing with distinction and Grade 7 violin with merit.

I'm so pleased for her......tomorrow seems even further away now :anxious:

Yes, she is a girly swot

Apparently I am half girly swot...not sure what the other half is

Me and maths don't get on too well though, and talking at the back of the class to your friends probably doesn't help...

I don't think my brain works logically though...sister finds maths and science really easy...everythings else is okay

I'm a more, art and english person...but I do like science

Well you know what they say, opposites attract

We do get on quite well. :D

Lewis is packing and we're going to Cornwall today (stopping of somewhere on the way tonight)

I'm running round cleaning out all the animals so my Aunt can look after them.

We've got a Diamond Dove chick that hatched today and another due tomorrow that I'll miss hatch! Hope they survive.

Bye, might see you if I can get on the internet :D

Hi everyone - by Lewis, behave yourself. Look after poor dad and have fun. I bet your aunt will enjoy herself with all those birdies - she'll be going "awww isn't it cute" when she sees the hatchlings. :D

Bye to Freda.

My old cat used to love lemon pancakes - it was very irritating because she would try dog impersonations by begging - and cats just can't do it. So she used to try jumping up - in the end we chopped up some for her. It had to be lemon and sugar - nothing else would do. Fussy animal. I do like some of the apple and cinammon ones, but prefer the lemon ones too. Savoury - not fussed. Now Scotch pancakes (I wonder why they are called that? Did they originally have booze in them?) - or American style pancakes must have maple syrup.

I missed the pancake session - just trying to relive and savour the moments.

Question - How heavy is a 10kg sack of flint grit?

Too blooming heavy if you are parked on the furthest part of the car park! I did my Charlie Dimmock bit and hoped the bag wouldn't burst when I dropped it onto the kitchen floor when I got home. I'm sure it's heavier than when I first grabbed hold of it in the shop.

There are some fantastic neolithic sites in Cornwall near Land's End. They glow in the dark - some algae growing on the walls inside or whatever - where they made holes in the ground to live in.
