Old Speckled Hen
I cooked a dozen eggs yesterday to pickle but when I peeled them I found that every one had its yolk to the edge of the egg so much so that the yolk showed through the white in that area. This of course makes it useless to pickle as the vinegar would just wash the yolk away. I store them in an eggskelter. Should I be rotating these daily or perhaps keeping the eggs intended for pickling upright in an egg box? Probably a daft question but has any body any ideas. What to do with twelve hard boiled eggs might be an idea as well
