bronze
I am confused here somewhere in Kosovo?? yes its one of their traditional houses in Pristina ( a Kulla). The new was actually relevant as theres few old places left the rest having been destroyed in the war.
Plum
What is a Kulla like inside? The windows are quite small but attractive .
bronze
Its pretty light. There were windows all the way around in the one I went in and theres just a few big rooms. I could happily live in one. The bottom floor was used the for the animals etc pretty much like our old set ups used to be. They were supposed to be fortified but I'm not sure if they all actually were or if a lot of it was tradition and decoration. Everything is very decorative so all wood would be elaborately carved. With influences from all over the shop particularly Turkey http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://www.travellingthebalcans.net/img/kulla.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.travellingthebalcans.net/%3Fq%3Dkulla&usg=__6YbtxN_Biv2P-RiQoosSZx26j98=&h=108&w=122&sz=11&hl=en&start=36&um=1&tbnid=kpUw2Xim98wsJM:&tbnh=79&tbnw=89&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dkulla%2Bhouse%26ndsp%3D20%26hl%3Den%26rls%3DGGGL,GGGL:2006-39,GGGL:en%26sa%3DN%26start%3D20%26um%3D1

Angels4
Mark has PC access problems I think - he'll be back. If he had a Mac he would be fine I bet you are right. But I'm not having problems with the PC, the problem is with my internet provider. I thought the issues had been sorted but am still having problems connecting to the internet from home. Luckily I'm having no problems connecting while I'm at work though.
