Adding interest to the run....

Recommended Posts

We have an old tree stump in the run which they like to take turns on to stand and look out over the garden.

We have something called "sweetcorn swingball" - a corn on the cob tied up with some string keeps our girls amused, and they get a bit of extra nourishment (and neck exercise).

I do tend to leave them to get on with it during the day whilst I am at work; they don't seem the worst for it.

i've got a tree stump and some logs, cd hanging up which they love looking at (very vain girls  ) a couple of logs, some platforms on the the remains of an old tree, they like sitting on them and a dustbath (which they ignore completely  ) to be honest they seem to enjoy digging lovely big holes around the edges of the wir then all piling in, snuggling up and having an afternoon nap

We have a log, an IKEA shoe rack for them to perch and we have also just bought a parrot perch that bolts on to the mesh, however they haven't used it yet,, peckablocks, a fat ball holder stuffed with vegetables and salad, whole corn on the cobs (though Obvioulsy I don't give the food treats all at once! :D )
