PurpleTree
I don't know if this is of any use to anyone. This company, in conjunction with the government, are offering everyone a device that fits to your shower that's saves water and therefore saves you money. It's only compatible with non-electric showers though. Here's the website for more info http://www.shower-smart.co.uk/index.php

Should have though of that really. But I will keep it inc ase we move somewhere we can use it.
PurpleTree
Just found that one, looks like a different link though? The one in the Green Thinking section isn't working.

AJuff
We have just had a new bathroom fitted and I'm pleased to say that the shower is fab. It has full, three quarter and half water flow options. Plus the toilet is dual flush now so that saves water too. I bought the kids a timer turtle for their shower as DS would stay in for hours!!! Pleased to say it works!!! We had a new washing machine earlier this year too. I researched and found a machine that used less water than others. Dishwasher is now it's last legs too so I've found new ones which vary in the amount of water they use from 10 to 16 litres! When I buy one it will be one of the 10 litre ones!! It feels very good using less water.
Lewis
My grandad got one of these in the post but they only have a bath, so we had it off him and its really good and a clever idea too.
