first ever crochet apart from a chain lol

Recommended Posts

i was reasonable pleased especially with the circle, though i'm unsure how to avoid the holes where the join on each layer is. Wasn't really sure where to join it and maybe my first stitch wasn't soon enough?

the rectangle was double then triple, its hard to tell when some rows end hence the strange shape but overall :D think i will try more circles :D and maybe get a bigger crochet hook so the holes are bigger.

well done you. I can only crotchet square blankets, and that's only if my mum starts me off and gets it going. She also has to finish it for me :lol: I really should learn how to do it myself one day.

Can ONLY do granny squares! Purple, if I could ONLY do squares, I'd be laughing! :D Like this!:lol::lol::lol:

Granny squares rock!

well have progressed to this now, looking forward to putting a nice edging on, used pastels so sure i can find a baby to give it to one day.i'm very happy with it and its sooo addictive, i think i like number counting things rather than things that use too much imagination as i also like counted cross stitch

Does anyone have the pattern for the easy ripple blanket? I can't find it!

My next project is going to be a puff stitch baby blanket I think, from my new book.
