BarbaraJ
i was reasonable pleased especially with the circle, though i'm unsure how to avoid the holes where the join on each layer is. Wasn't really sure where to join it and maybe my first stitch wasn't soon enough? the rectangle was double then triple, its hard to tell when some rows end hence the strange shape but overall think i will try more circles and maybe get a bigger crochet hook so the holes are bigger. oh and you tube taught me
Ygerna
You tube is teaching me too Fantastic crochet, I am still leanring how to chain and single stitch, I am no where near ready to attempt circles.

PurpleTree
well done you. I can only crotchet square blankets, and that's only if my mum starts me off and gets it going. She also has to finish it for me I really should learn how to do it myself one day.
Blackrocksrock
Well done I have also taken the U tube challenge and have started making "granny squares" The first of which was a disaster but I am getting better and on to my second. My late mum was the most exquisite knitter, seamstress and crocheter - I just never learnt to crochet more is the pity but maybe now I can redeem myself. craftyhunnypie
Ooo like your blue & white blanket. Mine is the same pattern but rather loud colours. I'm on a vivid cerise pink bit at the moment! Does anyone have the pattern for the easy ripple blanket? I can't find it! My next project is going to be a puff stitch baby blanket I think, from my new book. Emma.x
