Just wondering if anyone has used an r c rom mini and what were your thoughts and results

 

After a bad experience with our incy we are thinking of getting something else but we dont want anything to big and it must be fully automatic

I've not used it but I have heard a lot of complaints from breeders because they're receiving a lot of calls from people desperately searching for chicks as only one has hatched and it's in need of company. You'd be very very lucky to have a 100% success rate and it leaves the risk of having just the one chick which obviously isn't very fair on the chick. And if your one chick is a boy and you're not in a position to keep boys it becomes a very expensive and pointless exercise.

How about the Brinsea Mini Advance? thats automatic and takes 6 or 7 eggs, the price tag isnt that different to the RCom mini

I have an Rcom 20 & I also have 2 of the rcom minis. That way I can buy 6 eggs & not have to run the big incubator all the time. I've had success with the 2 minis. Very easy to use. Buy 2 !

I have been looking at the mini advance but does it control the humidity?

 

Would olove to buy 2 but oh might have a coronary if i do!!

i hatched from it 2 years ago and got 3 out of 3 even with the eggs getting posted but i'm getting a r-com king suro soon.

I must say i have told a few people in forums this is a great incubator...its good to look on ebay but make sure you type in auto as there are two version of the brinsea mini incubator.
