I've just rang Wernlas in the slight hope that they might have some silkies left.

The don't.

So now begins the hunt for 2 good quality girlies. I'll just pop into the Omlet breeds section - won't be long!

None near enough on Omlet & I want silkies not crosses as will be wanting to breed from them next year or year after, using my lovely golden (hatched myself) cockerel 'Scooter'.

There are a few on preloved, but would go & view the set ups before committing to buy.

No, not fussy..... I walked away from a breeder before I got my first girls...if I could have got out sooner I would have done, unfortunately she appeared as if by magic at the side of the car from nowhere & scared the life out of us...fortunately she didn't have the bluebelle which I (instantly at that moment ) was after......and I said I'd ring the following week to see if her order had arrived as expected...needless to say I have never rung her back

The lady I got my chooks from had a few silkies when I got my girls. I don't know if she has any left though. She is in Cheshire so maybe not to far from you.
