coco
I know this is probably a daft question but one of my ex batts is eating for England. I have wormed them both with Flubenvet last week. I wondered if it is just the novelty of having a pot of food nearly all to herself. They are eating about 2kg of food between them daily. Is this normal, my other girls don't eat nearly as much, although they are smaller.

Pikey
Yep they always eat more...not sure why tho...guess its the only thing the poor things had to do in the battery apart from peck each other. One of my ex-bat Season has her beak in the grub eating more than she does out
sparkysmum
My ladies show almost no interest in their hen food I'm afraid Just squawk & squawk until we let them out to scratch around the garden. Seem to thrive on it tho'
Old Speckled Hen
My ladies show almost no interest in their hen food I'm afraid Just squawk & squawk until we let them out to scratch around the garden. Seem to thrive on it tho' Mine are the same I cooked their mash this morning but it was rejected as usual. I'd say half goes in the bin every day
