I've been thinking of doing this thread for a while. Camilla's death yesterday has inspired me to get my photos on photo bucket. I thought it would be a heartening thread to show off our before and after photos of ex-commercially produced hens and remember the ones who didn't get to enjoy as much sun as some of the others so here goes for my first 3 ex batts.

Arriving Home - Sybil, June and Thomas

3 months later - enjoying the Autumn sunshine

Sadly Thomas and Sybil died the following Easter - June still enjoying life 29/11/09

"Enjoying the autumn sunshine" is a beautiful picture ........even more beautiful considering the horrible life those ladies have previously come from.

 

Its these before and after pictures that keep reminding us (and I wish others) how wrong and cruel this method of farming is.
