Is it safe to give them raw marrow?

I can't see why not, it is a member of the squash family, and my girls love all squash.

Mine ate the marrows from the polytunnel and came to no harm even though hubby threatened to kill them.

Cool! Thanks! I was given a monster marrow from a friend's allotment and have a lot of inner and peel.

mine had a courgette that had grown in to a marrow it took them a week to get through it

after i'd cut a hole through the skin. they do tend to lose intrest in pumpkins /squashes once all the seeds have gone but the still slowly eat them which in my mind is better as it give them something to do

my little darlings loved the courgettes in the garden this year which was great because just as mrs jkl and I reached the point of enough is enough - the girls took over and finished the rest off!

Mine looked at the overgrown courgette as if it was an unexploded bomb until & broke it in half & exposed the seeds ..................the courgette never stood a chance

I put a vegetable spaghetti in for them this morning hoping it would last a couple of days. there's 2 small bits of skin left do you think they liked it
