We were shopping in Tesco grabbing some greens for chooks and who should be on the next till from us Nick cotton, hubby wasn't convinced until he spoke, never get a face wrong me just names i have trouble with. He's in Panto here.

3 days later i'm in the local 'Monkey Bizness' (kids climbing indoor place) and sitting at the next table was Max Branning. Have no idea of their real names but he dissapeared suddenly when the place started to get busy.

I went to a friends sons baptism this year and while we were waiting to go into the restaurant after the service, the Fowler grandmother (cannot remember her name!) came out of the restaurant with her skirt tucked in her knickers

Ooh! We were having a meal in TGI Friday in Lakeside one year when we spotted (and I have no idea of his character name or his real name so bear with me!) he was a gangster, his daughter was I think Ruby - she was on Strictly - but he played a real smoothie. Probably in his fifties. I think he was also on the Bill. Any idea of his name anyone??

 

He's the only Eastender I've ever spotted.

 

Edited to add its Johnny Allen (just looked it up ) aka Bill Murray! Phew, that would have been bugging me all day.

I saw who i thought was Stever mcfadden (Phil Mitchell) round the back of Lidl in Borehamwood one day. he looked shifty and I was looking for cameras as I didnt want to be seen with my trolley !! If it wasnt him he has a twin.

It must've been a certain wedding as it's been all over the papers today.

 

Speaking of Nasty Nick Cotton (well, the guy who played him) asked me out once. Quite freaky really as I ended up bumping into him on a few occasions afterwards (once in Waitrose and he followed me round the store).

 

Needless to say, I didn't accept the offer of the date, but have dined out on the story for years and many of my friends still say 'allo maaaah' when they see me.

Went to the opening of a new shop in Kingston today and Keith Miller was in there looking exactly the same as he did in Eastenders. I often see him around Kingston.

Said wedding (since it seems to have leaked out anyway) was filmed at my Mum's church - Mum and Dad came across the filming on their travels during the week.

 

And the nearest I've come to an EastEnder was seeing Pam St Clement (Pat Butcher/Evans/whatever), shopping in Sainsbury's when I was visiting my parents.
