Valkyrie
At what I found while hunting for longarm quilting tuition! http://www.thequiltquine.com/images/smallquiltythings/lgfancifowl.jpg http://www.thequiltquine.com/images/smallquiltythings/lgchooks.jpg
BarbaraJ
Are they just pictures or do you have instructions for the chickens?
Valkyrie
No, it's just a link to a page where this lady does quilting and these are some of the smaller things she's done. I was looking for someone that does longarm quilting courses - but she's up in Scotland - in between quilts she says she gets sidetracked by chickens and pigs! Snowy
in between quilts she says she gets sidetracked by chickens and pigs! What a strange woman! Lovely quilt though!
Plum
Do you have a longarm quilter. There's going to be something in the post for you
Valkyrie
No I haven't - they cost a blooming fortune, but it would be nice to have a bash to see if I could do it. Space is another issue - bad enough finding space to put the wadding and bits together - heaven help me if we downsize!
Blackrocksrock
She lives quite near me - well about 60 miles away and offering weekends to learn longarm quilting - you should go for it - love the chooks - must try and make one. Valkyrie
I knew someone had made similar ones on here - I wonder if that's where she got the inspiration. Especially as she has chickens . . .
