To make it even easier,I whizzed it all in the food processor, & its made the moset buttery,melt in the mouth pastry ever. Sunshine Posted December 16, 2009 Share Posted December 16, 2009 Ooo they look yummy. We don't put sugar in our pastry but we do have icing sugar on top. We also have stars on the top sometimes which look really pretty. I never used to like mince pies until i tried some homemade mincemeat that my sisters guide group had made. It was absolutly gorgeous! We only brought one jar so we have some saved for us so we can make more mince pies. Apparantly the mincemeat was really easy-bung it all in and mix!
