i guess it means that chickens prefer pink!

Recommended Posts

i got GNR & PP & (pink eglu) , about 6 weeks ago. then i decided that i loved chucks soooo much that id get 2 more  . so i got my 2 orps 2 weeks ago & got a (orange eglu) for them.

i have a large garden & my OH made me a large fenced in area for them to freerange in. :D so i kept the orps in their run for 1 day, & then supervised them mixing with GNR & PP , which went so well that at bed time i went outside to shut them in their eglus & the orps had gone to bed in (pink eglu) with GNR & PP:roll:

i left them their, & let them out to free range the next day.

anyway, it doesnt seem to matter where i put the (orange eglu) , "Ooops, word censored!"ody will roost in it :? .

i think it must be the colour

the girls obviously prefer the colour pink :dance:

Just noticed this - and there may be something to it. Years ago I brought up a baby sparrow that had fallen - or was taken/pushed from it's nest - no feathers at the time, but grew into a cheeky little thing. She used to grab the pink tissues out of a box of mixed colours and try to bath in them. Never the other colours - just pink. Really funny to watch.
