Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Shock! Horror! Not a single egg today, from my 4!!

I know Cilla is broody but at one point quite recently I was getting 4 eggs on some days, at least 3 every day---and today----zilch!!

Hope all goes back to normal soon....

Hi i've got 8 chickens and only one is laying, every other day. I'm new to this (6 weeks) and keep hoping I'm not doing anything wrong! I've got 2 hybrids and 6 pekins though so it seems from reading all the posts on the forum that perhaps the pekins won't lay 'til Feb?!

 

I hope you get your 4 eggs again soon.

I've got 9... and no eggs since October.... Mind you, one is a cockerel, and 6 are still young...

I'm expecting to be inundated from February onwards. Hopefully. So, panic not.

I have 3 chooks and have been getting a steady 2 a day ! [ quite good I thought ! ]

They had their go slow in the summer .. guess they didnt read the chicken manual properly !!

Roughly 30 laying hens and ducks and I get about 1-2 eggs a day

We have 13 chickens and are getting between 6 - 9 eggs a day, so we're not doing too bad!

I'm dreading the day when I have to buy eggs - I'd rather go and buy another chook than buy eggs!

well I get more eggs than I can consume myself at the moment but I love giving them away to my friends! They make lovely presents don't they!

My little monsters are currently producing only one egg a day between seven of them and there have been several no egg days as well

 

Even shaking the box of paxo at them hasn't worked
