Hi . Can someone tell me where to buy a Wi package from please - cheapest & not ebay!

I want a reputable shop or online firm, but wonder where I'd get the best deal?

I bought the Wii fit plus disc only the other week for £10.

Stocks are low at the moment for the Wii fit plus but HMV do a good package of the console & the Wii Fit Plus. I think amazon might be slightly better but last time I checked they had no stock

I think Wii Fit plus has the original Wii Fit content in it as well, so you don't need to get both.

We got ours from Smyths ... I think it was £225 for a black wii, wii plus remote, wii sport and another game, wii fit board, wii fit plus and a £10 voucher

 

Most of them are white but they made 'limited edition' black ones ... they say that but still made 10000's of them

You will need a nunchuck as well.

 

They are great fun - you won't regret it!

Can I just ask is it worth buying this if I have EA Sports Active. We don't have a balance board so would need to buy a package. I don't really want to double up or get it if its the same sort of thing.

No - they are different.

 

The Wii Fit is far more "game" orientated, and you can compete against each other - although gets you up and moving. The EA Sports Active is more serious about exercise!

It's a second controller if you like.

 

So (in boxing for example) you plug the Nunchuck into the remote, and then hold the remote in one hand and the nunchuck in the other, so the Wii can pick up both of your hands. Also used in lots of other ways too.

 

Not sure explained that very well... But you do need one!!

Dont know about cheapest remote but I bought a lovely pink one from HMV

 

By the way - you should think about getting a cover for the Wii balance board - there are loads around in different colours and it makes it more comfortable and less slippy

Shop at Game, they have their own branded remotes that are far cheaper than the offical ones, and work fine.
