Charlottechicken
Yes, they do!! I wear thick woolly tights in winter and I end up with a big lump under one foot! Glad it's not just me !! Ahh, they must be better worn barefoot then! The bunching sock thing drove me mad (or a little madder than I already am )
Mrs Frugal
I'm used to taking my Uggs off and finding half a metre of tight leg flapping at the end of my foot !

Do the tights get progressively harder to pull up as the day goes on? I hate ill fitting socks and tights.
Egluntyne
Have had a look at the website and I can't say they take my fancy at all......A bit too "Sherpa Tensing" for my taste. The sandals on the other hand are another story. My sister lives in Oz and is coming home for a visit later this year.....I wonder if she'll have any spare room in her suitcase? The crotch gets lower throughout the day and you end up walking more and more like a penguin !

Guest
The thing about Uggs is, they're just not very pretty! And do they make your feet sweaty and smelly with all that fluffiness? I'm undecided about if I want to ditch my walking boots in favour of a pair of Uggs.
Snowy
I think it has to do with the fur inside - the material follows the direction of the fur. I have a lovely fur (fake!) lined jacket. The first time I wore it over a thin blouse, when I took it off my blouse had ridden up under my arms and the whole restaurant got a flash of my bra and belly! Cinnamon
I don't have the flappy sock proble with my boots. Firstly, they are snug around the ankle & secondly,my socks come up higher than the boot,so they cannot ride down They did make my feet warm though, but that was a good thing - feet too warm means time to come home & stop shopping, which equals less money spent, therefore justifying the cost of the UGGS
Mrs Frugal
As with my Crocs, I don't care what they look like so long as my feet are comfortable. I've suffered for years with blisters on my heels from fashionable shoes chafing and rubbing and pain from hereditory bunions crammed into pointy toed court shoes so Crocs and Uggs are pure comfort for my poor old feet. To be honest, looking around town, all the young girls are wearing Uggs just like mine so I must be getting trendy in my old age ! I always wear socks or woolly tights with them so I've not found that they get sweaty or smelly yet (I'm sure LSH will tell me when they do ), Shona. The sheepskin being a natural fibre is probably like other natural things like cotton etc which don't make you sweat so much.
Lesley
I'm still wearing Crocs with bare legs and feet (I've a feeling I'm asking for trouble here but I can't think how to reword this )
pepe
I don't get floppy socks with my rocket dogs, I use to wear them all day when I was working as a TA! They are covered in mud at the moment inthe greenhouse my friends put theirs in the washing machine www.rocketdog.co.uk, just in case you were wondering what the heck I was on about! Cate in NZ
I was up in the West End last night (went to see Sound of Music..... fabulous show ). Anyway whilst Immi and I were queueing to go in we saw several very attractive young women, early 20s or younger I'd say wandering around in mini skirts and Uggs It sounds like a revolting combination, but strangely enough it looked good. Maybe it was the youthful insouciance with which they were worn, but . Immi wasn't too impressed when I pointed them out to her though, worried that I was going to embarrass her by going to ask the young women to confirm that they were indeed Uggs I think. Not a chance, I wasn't going to lose my place in that queue
pepe
They all wear that look down here Kate! Those skinny little youngsters
hillfamily
I won't be wearing my new UGGS with that fashion combination - my legs are best well and truly covered. Sturdily built would be putting it nicely.
Egluntyne
Never having heard of these boots until I read this thread, I noticed today that two shops in Sheffield City Centre sell 'em! (Both on Devonshire St if your a Sheffielder).
Guest
I'm still wearing Crocs with bare legs and feet Me too Lesley! I'm glad I'm not the only weirdo! I haven't worn tights or socks for so long now, that I don't even think about it. Other people might think I look strange though. Anyway, at least I don't add to the mountain of socks I was in this house! At least 35 pairs a week!
