chickencam Posted September 27, 2010 Share Posted September 27, 2010 We have had a fine drizzle all day, but it has added upto less than 1mm of measurable rain. Everywhere is soaking wet and the cats have come in after each brief excursion wet with a fine sheen of drops, and muddy feet It is really dark and miserable, it has just been the same all day and is only 13 degrees now. The last few days I have putt he girls back in the run when I went home at lunchtime; they were just sitting in the garden looking damp and miserable. chickencam Posted September 29, 2010 Share Posted September 29, 2010 We had some sunshine for about an hour yesterday afternoon, I took my chance and cleaned out both hen houses. By 5pm it was dull again, but very mild, it stayed dull, damp and warm all night. We had some heavy rain just before 7am, then it dried up for a while and the wind got up, now we have fine rain. Someone just told me that we're forecast an inch of rain on Sunday!!!! He'll be soooo wet while his brolly goes flying away into the bunker down the fairway in the driving rain! Ahhh, so my Saturday is sorted, clean out cube - already! Goes around quick doesn't it? And any remaining energy will be digging up onions and moving the fence around so Kitty can at last dig up the bed she so badly needs to get to (by sneaking through the netting and having to be turfed out many a time). chickencam Posted October 1, 2010 Share Posted October 1, 2010 We had a lovely day yesterday when I was stuck in the office, and some idiot who doesn't eat enough or wear enough clothes, put the heating on then had the fan heater on in reception over my lunchtime. The sun comes pouring through the windows in the early afternoon, and I was melting for the rest of the day It is tipping it down and blowing a gale here today, better weather forecast for tomorrow, and they now seem to be saying that it will rain overnight on Saturday then be ok on Sunday, so here's hoping.
