Gorgeous sunny day here, perfect cube cleaning weather.

Lovely here too for most of the day, but clouded over mid-afternoon and is drizzling now, not too cold though.

The grey sheets went and we had a lovely afternoon - went to pick up number one son in Southampton and there were lots of large cotton wool clouds - we did quite a lot of shape spotting - like an elephant with a tusk and a whale! This evening there was a little bit of drizzle in the air - 8 degrees - whoohoo!

It was sleeting here about half an hour ago, and was decidedly chilly.

Well, the wind now has an icy edge to it and the clouds have gathered, wouldn't be surprised if we saw some of Egluntyne's 'S Stuff'

Dull grey and cold.

Had some of that fine "snow" like tiny hailstones but not enough to matter.

DH was out on a shout late last night walking a walking casualty off The Langdales and he said it was snowing on top

Have cleaned the run out and I'm sitting next to a crackling log fire with the cat on my lap

I could murder a tiny sloe gin. Do you think it's too early?

No no no! Not more S! There's still a 3 x 2ft high pile by the roundabout that hasn't gone yet (plus some smaller ones dotted around there).

We had a smidgeon of sun - OK it was hazy but there was blue sky-ish in places - then the grey and wet came back again. Oh well at least it was a nice end to the girlies day - preening. We did have some great gusts of wind earlier too!

Grey and still. Lot of noise from the rookery. Mr P (our visiting pheasant) has brought with him three ladies and he is busy relentlessly chasing them about the garden. Is spring in the air? Mmmmmmm Last February was bitterly cold and snowy

Never mind. the garden is full of Snowdrops and Mahonia and I'm chitting some spuds on the windowsill

2 degrees here but much brighter afternoon. Went to Alton today, and although we have big mounds of snow still - theirs are huuuuuuge!!!

It's been a dull & chilly day.

 

It feels much colder at the moment than the 2 degree's on the barometre and the sky is a vivid shade of pink. More of the frosty stuff for us tonight...

All sparkly outside. When we came out of the restaurant this evening Murray said - you'd think we'd be acclimatised now after the weather we've had lately - but it feels freezing out here.
