It's been a glorious sunny day. I have spent most of it outside. Went for a jog this morning and a long walk in the woods this afternoon.

Somebody had strung up a magnificent dog fox from a farm gate

I know they eat our chickens but he was so beautiful. I stopped to touch him

That's sad. We often see them (alive) on our walks and I have to stop Ruby running off after them.

Beautiful day here blue sky sunny, had a touch of frost, but it's clearing fast 11c.

We have beautiful sunshine here this morning, with a much lighter wind than yesterday, so despite a -3 start it doesn't seem anywhere near as cold as yesterday. I couldn't bare to be outdoors yesterday it was so bitter, whereas I have been outside quite a bit this morning.

Woke to find icing sugar snow all over the place - lots of tiny icy balls - soon melted though as it's a beautiful sunny day, but bitterly cold wind.

Yesterday & today have been lovely & sunny but with a bitter chill in the air!

I turned out to be an absolutely stunning day here in the end - very bright and sunny all day; my office has been filled with sunshine, but very cold outside. None of the promised snow.

Yesterday was a bright sunny day and DH and I managed quite a bit in the garden

This morning is quite foggy with rain forecast for later.

More snow expected tomorrow. I do hope they are wrong.

I was puzzled with the forecasts; Countryfile yesterday said that ti will be nice and warm on Thursday. Today's paper promoses snow from Tuesday onwards with temps low

It was foggy last night - overcast and damp today but not raining or snowing yet. On Accuweather they are back to saying sunny towards the end of the week and getting warmer in a fortnight. By tomorrow it'll be back to freezing temperatures in a fortnight I'll bet. All that technology and they all still get things wrong. I think I'll stick to the old wives tales and sayings and guess - usually works for me!

It turned into a lovely day yesterday... sunny, breezy & milder than of late. Managed to dry some washing on the line- bliss

 

There's a fair amount of cloud about this morning and we had some rain overnight. There are a few patches of blue and it's still not too cold but I think it's going to stay overcast for most of the day.

Yesterday we saw a red glow at sunset in the distance, but it was just a teeny narrow strip. Today was foggy to start, quite mild although it felt cold around lunchtime so we turned on the heating. It's off again now because it seems to be warm again. No sun just grey blanket cloud and damp.

A day of allsorts here. Started off foggy and freezing; had to s"Ooops, word censored!"e the car. Then we had a hailstorm then the sun came out. Took doggie out for a walk and got thoroughly rained on at the end of the walk.

 

 

You can just see where it fell as snow on the hills behind.

Now the sun is trying hard to shine through the cloud.

Still bloomin' cold though.

Turned out to be a lovely day here - 6 deg at lunchtime. Pretty clear now and we're promised -2deg for tonight.

Relatively mild but soooo wet. Just when I thought about going outdoors down it came again.
