We are rather cold today as it was minus 12.4 outside here and along the road 18 miles it was minus 22 :shock::shock::shock: It is freezing and ice inside the windows no matter what we do as its so bad - the sun is shinin off the snow and its really bright and at least underfoot is better as its drying out. There are cars which wont start and diesel which is freezing in vehicles too - not the best day.

We have had a few sunny days and have got some gardening done too. Today however dawned with snow showers and it is now dull damp cols and grey. I am glad i don't live in Scotland though, at least we have the first hint of spring.

 

 

Can see a few snowdrops out along the border round the edge of the house but the rest are buried under snow keeping warm :lol:

One of my Canadian cousins (now in Faversham) used to live in Vancouver. He said it was a much milder climate there, although more often than not it rains. When the sun is out everyone drops what they are doing and head for the beach. :lol: When we went there (yep it rained) we had one sunny day and sure enough a crowd had gathered on the beach and all sorts of games were being played - volleyball being one of them. Certainly seemed much more laid back than the hustle and bustle of Toronto (where his sister lives - and boy was it hot there). Toronto has seen more snow this year too. Where can we live that has nice winters and nice summers, because I'm also fed up with this now.
