Bahhh, humbug..... shuddup you lot - misty and raining here, mild though, which is unexpected as we were forecast -2deg and snow. A colleague is getting email alerts from google weather.. alerting her to a 'big snow event' in the midlands.

Snow is forecast for mid-afternoon today and overnight tomorrow.

 

We had a lovely sunny day yesterday, cold though.

 

I had promised YD that we would go into town clothes shopping this week, but ED went with her friends yesterday and it is tipping down here today, and is forecast to do so for most of the rest of the week. I also said she had to be up by 9.30 is she wanted to go and that she should have tidied her room, so I may be off the hook

Heavy sleety rain today, glad that I left the chooks in the run - they'd be miserable out in this.

Ahhh been sitting in the sun - heatwave here.

 

Well, with our coats on - lovely when the sun is out, but when it goes behind the clouds (which are gathering) it is quite chilly. Mainly outdoors trying to sort out grumpy birds using the nest box when I wanted to clean them out. Grumpy because someone else was in there while the boss felt she should have first bottom space choice.

It has settled a bit here now - colder, but no rain/sleet; brighter, but still cloudy and no sun.

Well the clouds are blowing across from the south, so it should be clearing your way, although I did see that band going up across Devon and Cornwall up to the Midlands, so I guess you are just under that one. I shall have to puff a bit outside and hope for the butterfly effect.

It has rained here non stop for 24 hours.

I saw a few cars in Banbury today with loads of snow on them - they must have come from your way.

 

Banbury is in a basin, so a wee bit warmer than surrounding areas.

We've had some snow overnight and there's a light covering on the ground. It's sunny at the moment- nice to see the back of the murk for the time being.

Bright and sunny this morning. Ground really hard after a frost. Managed to keep my feet dry running in the fields with the doggie.

Well after a bit of a swear at the weather, it changed and we have had quite a nice day - girls sunning themselves all over the paving slabs. Some odd cumulus clouds beginning to look evil over Guildford way - or possibly further over still (my sense of distance isn't that good ).
