Cold, frosty start to the day and mild sunshine now!

We had a cold frosty start -2 but it is lovely now 11 degrees. I can't get any gardening done though because I have hurt my back somehow and I am in a lot of pain. It is so frustrating, I have been waiting to get out ther and plant some seeds.

Blooming hot out there - another veg bed bites the dust and the soil is terrific. Perhaps it's the grotty weather broken down the clay? Or it may be all the compost we've put on there that's finally worked after so many years, but I don't think so. Have to say it's the weather.

Not mine I have to confess but I have seen bees on the snowdrops and crocuses

 

Not as warm as yesterday and sunshine has been hazy.

It has been fairly nice today, although quite chilly. The sun was coming through the cloud so it wasn't dull at all. Vegetated indoors today because I have huge mossie bites on my legs and I'm waiting for the anti histamine to sort them out because they are painful now - a couple of nice days and not only do the pretty wildlife creatures come out - so do our blasted mosquitoes the size of hornets. Bah humbug!

It was overcast and blustery yesterday, but today looks a lot brighter - clear and frosty start, but it's mostly cloud now and a cold breeze.

Lovely day yesterday - was 7 degrees in the New Forest yesterday afternoon. I suppose the cold wind didn't help. Today is much the same outside, although there was a heavy frost in the morning. 6 degrees registering at around 10.30, so it might get warmer still. Off to hang out the washing.
