Deep joy! It's sunny & spring-like

Sunday looks vile for us too...

Spare a thought for my parents, who are sailing back from Lisbon at the moment... due into Southampton on Sunday  . Looks like they're going to be riding the weather front!

They've encountered a few weather problems on this holiday- their ship docked in Madeira for the day when they had all the horrendous mud slides & flooding. Thankfully they were okay.

Think they're going to be feeling a bit queasy for the next few days :vom: .

Sunny all day. Got lots of extra snowdrops planted. MIL doing her usual twice yearly garden rearranging wanted shot of snowdrops. We had them all (about forty clumps) :D I love snowdrops

Also put masses of yellow loosestrife along the laneside outside the house.

All in all a glorious day in the face of snow and sleet forecast by the Met Office :lol:

Today looks the same so far. Have been watching the rooks ferry twigs to the rookery at the bottom of the garden.

Very sorry for all of you in Scotland. You must be fed up to the teeth with this arctic weather :(

I second that - time for Scotland to have some nice weather - all of us really. Today is very frosty, so the squelching in the garden is now crunching. Sun is out and very bright - not a cloud in the sky and I can't see the trees moving, so little or no wind at all. Yayyyyy. Time to sort the greenhouse out.

We had cold winds and rain over the weekend, but certainly not the biblical torrents they forecasted :?

Absolutely gorgeous today... 10deg and the sun is streaming in through my open office window - why couldn't it have been like this at the weekend?

I hear that it's all going to pot mid-week though

Absolutely glorious here until about 20 minutes ago. Just got home from work and thought I'd let the hens out. Five minutes later, the sky blackened and an almighty hailstorm started. The hens have all stomped back into their runs.

Frosty start, lovely sunny and beautiful day with a little melt of the dreaded stuff and hopefully more will melt tomorrow but I am told more of the same at the weekend! - :( Well we really need a good summer now as this thursday will be 11 weeks of snow! eek - I love it but am so fed up of it now and want to see my bulbs coming up and get some outdoor work done.
