chickencam
Dull chilly start, but the sun is just starting to peep through to remind me that the windows need washing
The Dogmother
Wet and wild at first, but it's clearing a little. I hear that Sunday will be vile though. Koojie, I'll be at the show too - probably on Sunday.
Groovychook
Deep joy! It's sunny & spring-like Sunday looks vile for us too... Spare a thought for my parents, who are sailing back from Lisbon at the moment... due into Southampton on Sunday . Looks like they're going to be riding the weather front! They've encountered a few weather problems on this holiday- their ship docked in Madeira for the day when they had all the horrendous mud slides & flooding. Thankfully they were okay. Think they're going to be feeling a bit queasy for the next few days .
Valkyrie
OH gone to Bournemouth for a walk with his cousin - hahahahaha! Perhaps it's more of a swim. We've had really heavy downpours with bright sun in between. Quite mild in spite. We got up to 11 degrees yesterday - but it's a bit cooler today. Old Speckled Hen
Nice bright sunny day. I'm watching the rain at Twickenham
Valkyrie
Apart from the odd downpour it's been quite nice - the wind has dropped again. We had a beautiful strong rainbow earlier on. Sky's beginning to consist of altostratus blanket now though.
Blackrocksrock
11 degrees - positively tropical - we have made 2 degrees to-day and been dry and snow shrinking this is what we have had to deal with thankfully it will go away - should we put it on ebay?? Groovychook
After a very rainy start to the day, the sun came out & it was lovely & warm! Got loads done in the garden
Old Speckled Hen
Sunny all day. Got lots of extra snowdrops planted. MIL doing her usual twice yearly garden rearranging wanted shot of snowdrops. We had them all (about forty clumps) I love snowdrops Also put masses of yellow loosestrife along the laneside outside the house. All in all a glorious day in the face of snow and sleet forecast by the Met Office Today looks the same so far. Have been watching the rooks ferry twigs to the rookery at the bottom of the garden. Very sorry for all of you in Scotland. You must be fed up to the teeth with this arctic weather
Valkyrie
I second that - time for Scotland to have some nice weather - all of us really. Today is very frosty, so the squelching in the garden is now crunching. Sun is out and very bright - not a cloud in the sky and I can't see the trees moving, so little or no wind at all. Yayyyyy. Time to sort the greenhouse out.
Groovychook
It was a bit showery first thing yesterday but fine and mild for the rest of it... got off lightly. A bright, crispy start to the day today- going to take the tarp off the run
The Dogmother
We had cold winds and rain over the weekend, but certainly not the biblical torrents they forecasted Absolutely gorgeous today... 10deg and the sun is streaming in through my open office window - why couldn't it have been like this at the weekend? I hear that it's all going to pot mid-week though

Egluntyne
Absolutely glorious here until about 20 minutes ago. Just got home from work and thought I'd let the hens out. Five minutes later, the sky blackened and an almighty hailstorm started. The hens have all stomped back into their runs.
