It's not you Louise- the new gallery is a complete load of twaddle! You'll need to load it up to a photobucket (or similar) account, then paste it in.

when you've got it in Photobucket Louise, highlight the IMG address (the last one in the list of file types)

 

What I find works best is to to delete the IMG bits at either end of the copied address from PB and use the Omlet ones from the button above the posting window.

 

You should have something like this (without the gaps!)
