cluckingmad Posted February 4, 2010 Share Posted February 4, 2010 Ooooh, so proud and excited - Nutty our little buff sussex who was almost killed last year in a hen-pecking attack has not only survived and grown into a beautiful and cuddly girl but has started laying After almost losing her last yeat and, together with hubby, having to nurse her back to health in the house for a while we were worried she may not integrate back into the flock. However, our little girls is one tough cookie and not only went back in with her friends but was also the first baby to make the transition into the cube from their cat carrier... she was also the first baby to crouch properly (there was a significant amount of excitment in our household at this) and has now proved herself as the first baby to start laying!
