Eggquisite
Well...I have just been out to see the girls & Rhubs & I was walking towards him to go back out of the run Rhubster went for me three times ! I had to get over the side of the netting as apposed to going back through the opening. This is the first time he has done this, we have had him since May of last year. Any ideas why this may have started & is there anyway we can try & prevent it
Daphne
Its the hormones ramping up - Spring is in the air! You need to assert your authority - try picking him up and carting him about as you do some outdoor chores - making a fuss of him as well unless you think he will see this as a reward for bad behaviour. I do know, however, that some people will give their boys a couple of chances and after that its curtains - the logic being that whilst a grown up might be able to handle this sort of thing, a child might not. And depending on his size/spurs etc he might be too much for an adult as well!
Eggquisite
Thanks Daphne - sounds like good advice to me! We don't want to take any 'drastic' action as we love him to bits it was just a bit of a shock this morning Think we'll be carting him around under our arms this weekend
LJ's Chooks
My dh, kids and neighbours think I'm mad cos I take mocha for walks, he still just about fits under my arm and off we go. We go for abou half an hour, down the lane and chat to the neighbours we see. He is quite a weight, but I think it helps and he definitely knows that I am in charge... For now anyway. I hope this is still the case tomorrow
