Omlet Cube chicken coop and walk in run for sale £900

[legend21]

Im exited and nervous, I dont know if I am expecting too much and may be disappointed, the man is building it in sections and bringing to my house on Saturday to put it all together, with an onduline roof, I have order my tarp for the sides but will use my Ikea shower curtains first as I have a stock pile of them. I cant wait

[sage]

Bet your so excited.

Mine seems so far away, cube in still in the boxes in the greenhouse. WIR is on order, pavers are been delivered on Friday. The only problem is finding the time to put it all together. Hoping to get it all done by end of March.

Good luck

Sage

No chucks as yet

Can I be really nosey, and ask where you got your WIR Panels from. I am seriously thinking of investing in a WIR but OH and myself not particulary handy.

[Redwing]

How exciting is that chap building it all in one day?

[legend21]

Hello Madabout, I had originally got a quote from Tony, and although I would have loved to get one of his by the time I added VAT and transport it was a lot of money. I have got a local guy,(Duncan) told him everything Tony was going to do, so he can do the same, and he is building it in sections and joining it all together in the back garden, I could probably have got him to build and deliver it, but OH and I would probably be headed for the divorce court as we dont do well working together, Duncan was much cheaper than Tony, duncan builds beatiful coops, I will take pictures of the wir and try to post them on the omlet website

Hello Tasha, I just assumed it would be one day, but I think it will depend on the weather (hopefully no snow).

[emchook]

Oh Legend21 how disappointing !!!

I personally would tell him to take a hike if he phones ... try and get someone else .. ???

[Plum]

Oh how disappointing. I don't know what I would do except cry tears of frustration. I guess to them it's just another structure. To you its your dreams. Hugs.

[legend21]

Hi Plummy and emchook, thanks for the kind words,(well in my younger day I was more emchook) I have re read his email ( what a sad git I am) and he says, will start your run Saturday, I am now so sad I am reading that as he will start it saturday and bring it down when he has finished all of the panels, I called his wife and she said she last saw him with chicken wire and and angle grinder (I need a pole cut) so at least that means I am somewhere in his thoughts, but I have been waiting around since 8.30am my sister came over to see the run! she would like to have a few words with him.

Thought I would be posting pictures by now. Fingers crossed that I bite my tongue and get the job done eventually boo hoo

[Redwing]

Dont panic, you have lived x amount of years without one so far and I am sure it will be worth the wait, its sounds like he is working on it at home so open a bottle of wine and take a deep breath, it will be worth it and when its up you will be wondering why you worried so much x

[legend21]

Well Tasha if you insist i will have a small red to help relax, I mean I am just obey orders

cheers

[Plum]

Are you sure he is not making the panels at his workshop and will then contact you when he needs to erect it?

[legend21]

I think I read the email as will start the wir on Saturday so just assumed he would be here on Saturday, thank goodness I did not dismantle the omlet run today. So dont know when he will appear. You will all be the first to know as OH is a bit fed up listening to me.

[Plum]

I would be the same. Keep ranting

[emchook]

I would try and get hold of him again directly and get any misunderstandings cleared up.

It does sound like you may have misunderstood each other...

[ If you tell him how disappointed you are he may hurry up on a guilt trip......... men like to fix things and make women happy ]

Hope the muddied waters clear up and you have a lovely WIR sooner rather than later.. !
