BarbaraJ
I bought a lovely book http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/reader/0715331728/ref=sib_dp_ptu#reader-page which has lovely knitted toys with patches of material. i thought i had fabric with small patterns but i haven't and have looked online on the sites i have used before. Does anyone know where i can find fabric online like they use as theres not much choice in the shops here? Oh that's just like chickens - see fabric want some fabric.

Oh that's just like chickens - see fabric want some fabric. Umm me too I just can't resist buying more fabric all the time - tomorrow its pay day and I am spending the day at Patchwork Corner on a quilting course - I think it would rude not to buy just a little bit of something pretty whilst I'm there
Valkyrie
Didn't sneak in the fabric (thought I better hadn't - I have sooo much), but I did buy some invisible thread and some flower yo-yo's to try.
docsquid
This thread has answered my question about online fabric suppliers for patchwork and small needlework projects - thank you! I've ordered some stuff from them and hope to try out my new sewing machine this week.

BarbaraJ
They look great. Are you going to do those bunnies next? i made one but the ears didnt look right as it said use 2 pieces of interfacing on each ear and mine was too thick so the ears sort of stand to attention The elephant is next. Don't even know who they are for yet but i like making them all
Valkyrie
Oh yes, rather fond of the nellie too. Although I don't think I'd mind a rabbit with upright ears. Hint hint for future secret Santa's

craftyhunnypie
Love him! What a nice book that is. The pattern for those bunnies in in one of my magazines...hmm it's either Simply knitting or Woman's weekly craft special. I think Simply knitting. I'm loving the owl & pussycat..I always loved that poem, especially where the Piggywig with the ring through the end of his nose comes in!
