TAJ
So my new girlies I got last Sunday went in with the 4 layers (Bully Bella removed) last night and today had their first free range. For Fluff (the buff orp) this was her first time ever on grass as she was in the barn over winter. Despite a bit of pecking order sorting out no real problems - as you can see more on Puff - they were coated in anti-pecking spray before going in with the others. Chicken Shirl
They are lovely birds. One of my favourite breeds. First time on grass, that must have been lovely for them.

TAJ
Gorgeous birds and I love your edging too. Must try some of that! The edging is brilliant - before this soil got raked onto the grass, then the hen thought the grass was soil and dug it up. Now the grass remains grass and they dig in their allowed bits of the beds.
