Egluntyne
A pal at work gave me this tip, and it makes a lovely crunchy coating. Simply whizz up in Magimix some Matzo crackers. That's it. Flavour it with whatever takes your fancy, onion and/or garlic powder, herbs, curry powder Dip Goujons in plain flour, the beaten egg, then Matzo crumbs. Chill in fridge, then mist with olive oil and bake in oven till golden, about half an hour at gas mark 4, turning at half time Or Fry for 6/7 mins either side in butter. (Sinful!!) I did this for my son (baked version) and he declared it to be "Right Nice" (Sheffield expression). I just added garlic salt and onion granules and a bit of S&P Couldn't be easier. Did a sort of home made not quite Tartar Sauce, too....Chopped up gherkins in a dollop of mayonnaise. Served with green beans and a jacket potato.
