Space Chick
Just thought I'd show off some pics of my new babies who have been in residence at Chez Space Chick since Sunday. Following "corn training", confidence that they are healthy and some successful free ranging with "specially selected" oldies, they have now been moved to the rabbit run in the WIR, still separated, but can see each other all the time. Now whats out here..... Let me have a look Yes I am going out No, I am staying in here This seems fun. Whats over that fence Lets eat some mealworms with my new sister Grace What am I missing you guys So far, so good. I am letting the newbies free range with 2 or 3 girls at a time (even though Tegan won't come out ), I am also letting Dorothea and Tegan have some time in the WIR as a whole, again with 2 or 3 girls I am hoping tomorrow to let them have a free range with some of the feistier girls with supervision and water pistols at the ready

Redwing
lovely thanks for posting SC Dorothea never had any free ranging here at all so it must be a heck of a shock to her, she is being brave though, hopefully all will be ok as she was never an agressive bird or a shy bird when she was here and she got on with all the others Teagan looks a little more tense but perhaps she was over wintered inside (as she seems quite young) so isnt used to it all? Space Chick
hopefully all will be ok as she was never an agressive bird or a shy bird when she was here and she got on with all the others She has been marvellous in fairness, although did try to take on Sarah-Jane, top chook but chilled with it, but she was very quickly put in her place Her and Grace are like old friends, and she was getting on marvellously with Peri in the run earlier, so I think she will settle in well Ex batts tomorrow 1 at a time though, as they can be feisty madams
