bluekarin
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/somerset/8560398.stm I read this on ceefax and thought how bizarre. I wonder what caused them to fall like that, all at once from the sky? I can't believe they all crashed into each other.
A chickychickychick-ENN!!
They're not sure they did crash into each other. It's most unusual for them not to keep space between each other. It's most odd isn't it? And Ceefax you say! Is that still going? I used to be such a Ceefax addict!
bluekarin
It most certainly is, well, the BBC one. It's my daily paper It is very sad, and odd what has happened. I wonder if they will be able to find out what happened. I hope so, and maybe it is something that could be stopped from happening again. Ain't Nobody Here
They seem to think they might have been trying to avoid a predator and crash landed. Poor little things .

Charlottechicken
Such a strange incident. I read that several birds were saved but others who were in distress had to be put to sleep. Wonder if they will get to the bottom of it
Valkyrie
Someone suggested the sun reflecting on concrete and they misjudged their landings. I think that would happen more often if it was that theory. Eamon Holmes said the answer was simple - the aliens did it. But it is rather spooky, poor little things. Charlottechicken
I've just had a one legged starling hopping around my garden He appeared to be coping fine, just couldn't stand still whilst eating.
