Martin B
Just had a bit of a close shave twice! First of all I forgot to put the chickens away, so they were roaming around the garden using the garden lights to see where they were going. I got them into the eglu and run with no harm being done. Only seconds ago, our beloved dog Jess, fled out of the backgate, past the pubs in Alcester, and halfway down the highstreet, over the main road going through Alcester, which is really busy at this time. A kind member of the public caught Jess and handed her back to Sean who was chasing after her. He had accidently left the gate open when he was taking Mia for a walk ( they have seperate walks sometimes, to get away from each other hormones ). I heard Sean shout "JESS" really loudly so I looked out of the window and Sean was chasing her down the car park. I got on my crocs and joined the chase. I'm so glad I'm not posting this in the "Remember a pet" section in the Chickens or Chicken Clinic forums. Here is the little tinker. So glad to have her still with us! Martin B
No taste, that dog She was lucky to escape that busy road Martin I took that photo to annoy my brother who is a Liverpool fan, Jess came from Merseyside so he was convinced she was a Liverpool supporter, but I proved him wrong! It was such a lucky escape. I'm so relieved!

Mel (& Paul)
I can remember Blue running out of the house one day and in through a neighbours garden and then out through that. I was so terrified - she didnt have her collar in and I had no idea where she would go. I stood in their garden shouting "Blue Come" Blue Come!" for ages before she came back. My neighbours (who are in th 80s) did ask why our dog was called Bluecon.............. So I know what its like.
