Valkyrie Posted March 13, 2010 Share Posted March 13, 2010 Yo! Tried doing a message - got called away halfway through and speedy Gonzales nipped in. On here sneakily and what do I find? 15! Whoohoo! Then some bizarre cleaning tips. I like Astonish for my granite - I just lurrrrve my granite when it's been done with that - it kind of makes it silky smoooooooth and I have to run my hands over it. Then I turn around and find crumbs, cheese, tea stains and all sorts so I have completely wasted my time. So out in the garden and Murray is trying to dig up artichokes, although he has been digging up Tipsy - from behind it looks like she's doing levitation tricks. The girls aren't happy - no treats for making big noises and no eggs. Tipsy is back on track and now Skye is crouching as is Sioux. Lovely teapot. Must show Erin - that's the sort of thing she's in to at the moment. I see Selfridges is doing well with macaroons - or rather "macarons" that look like hamburgers and have wierd flavours. Me + friend got stopped by some random woman who did market research about 'mens products' - had to look at a screen and they scanned my eyes to see where I looked first, for how long etc then taken to a fake shop and had to point out what I'd buy. Got £5 for doing it. Then later on a different woman asked us to do some more in the Odeon about chocolate "I like you, what are you doing next Saturday" - she wants me to join one of her focus groups about the Museum + Art gallery and get £20! The driving lesson went well, got home and mothers BHWT bag is here, and I got a letter from Aberyswyth - A cheque for £48 for going to the visiting day and letter about those 2 entrance exams I did a few weeks ago ... I have gained a "Merit Award" - £1,000 and an unconditional offer Basically means I don't have to get amazing A-Levels and can still go to Aberystwyth! :dance: Lewis is raaaaaather happy Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Well done Lewis - can only get better from now, and loadsamoneeeeeeey too - is this the time to do the lottery? Have been sorting out my seeds for the greenhouse and making mess in the utility - move this bit here, and that bit there. Chucked loads of stuff away. Girls been busy in the greenhouse (they ignored 2 fat snails ) and disposed of lots of woodlice - nooooo not my spiders leave them alone! I've been busy in the greenhouse and the old compost has been dumped unceremoniously on the garden and they've had a good session out there too. Ordered more seeds and gardeny bits. Love my rootrainers but some are beginning to disintegrate so I found the makers and instead of buying the whole kit and kiboodle, I have bought only the parts I need (and some spares). Yayyyy! Skye laid her first eggy today (that I've noticed) and it's huuuuge for a diddy bird! Tipsy also laid today and now Sioux is crouching when I go to stroke her, the dirty little beast. Can almost see Kitty's blue feathering, but she's sooooo dirty. I think I'll have to put her on the "what animal is your pet" and say mine is either a little piggy wallowing in mud or a hippo. I have just got out of the shower after spending the whole day in the garden "sorting"!! I got a bit carried away though and ended up taking the bantams cube and 7m run apart, removed aubiose, skimmed off top layer of soil and then put cube and run back together but facing the other way and closer to the house This all means that the girls can have their own bit of garden and I there is space should the need to be used Just need to freecycle twelve bags of poo, bedding and topsoils now!
